Receiving Reservations from OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia or AirBNB)

After implementing GraceSoft as your channel manager for Booking.com, Expedia, or Airbnb, Easy Innkeeping will begin receiving reservations from your OTA.   These new reservations will automatically download into your calendar and appear on the OTA log for easy reference.

OTA Log

The OTA Log is accessed by clicking on the OTA icon in the Easy Innkeeping icon bar.  A small red number will indicate new updates to the log since the last time it was viewed:

The OTA Log tracks activity from the OTA’s and will show:

  1. New Reservation Downloads
  2. Reservation modifications
  3. Reservation Cancellations

The information shown in the OTA Log, from left to right, is:

  1. The OTA Reservation ID number
  2. The Easy Innkeeping Reservation ID number
  3. Guest First and Last Name
  4. Arrival/Departure dates
  5. Room Type Booked
  6. Unit Total price (Pre-TaxTotal)
  7. Source of the booking (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.)
  8. Booked On date
  9. Type of request (Booking, Cancellation, Modification)

On rare occasions, you may see another alert appear Reservation Failed.
