Overview:

A Package Booking is a combination of rooms, amenities and services bundled together to provide added value to a guest’s stay.

Setup Package:

  • The package feature allows a property to build combinations of room stays, and other items like foods into a package that can be sold as a single package to the guest.
  • To access package setup, go to setup>>Front Office>>Advanced>>Package setup

Adding Package:

To add a package, click on the “Add” button on the “package listing” window.

Adding Package Details:

  1. Enter Package Name.
  2. Enter the Description of that package.
  3. Click on the Browse button to upload the picture.
  4. Enter the Number of Rooms for this package.
  5. Enter the Number of Nights included in the package.
  6. Select Room Rate from the Dropdown.

  1. Select the rooms that can be allotted for this package from the Room Details To select multiple rooms, hold the CTRL key and select with your mouse.
  2. To add the Item Details.

    • Select the item name from the drop-down.
    • Select the quantity for the respective Item.
    • Under the “Amount” column, if a default price is defined for the item, it will automatically feed the charge. If no charge is defined, the amount should be entered manually.
    • If you want to add more items click on Add More Items button and enter the item details.

  1. Enter the Number of Guests.
  2. Select Online Package as “Yes” if you want to display packages on the Easy WebRez online booking page. Package applies between
    • Select the dates that the package should be applied. If you want to apply multiple dates for a single package, click on the Add More Dates button and select the dates.

  1. Total Room Rate will be shown in the text box and can be modified.
  2. Total cost is the actual amount of the package (calculation will be based on the room rate and item details amounts) excluding the tax will be displayed in the textbox.
    • Click on the “Save” button. Now the package is added successfully under the “Package listing”

Creating Package Reservation:

  • Create a reservation.
  • On the reservation screen, choose “Package”, so that the window changes to the package booking screen.
  • Select the package name, date, rooms, adults, and children.
  • Click on “Add Room”, and now a new pop-up screen appears to update the rate for each unit/per night

  1. Click on that edit
  2. Enter the rate per night.
  3. Click on the Save
  4. Again, Click on the Save button on the reservation screen.

Retrieving Package bookings from the Reservation List:

  • On the PMS screen, go to the “Reservation” tab.
  • Under the “Reservation Type” field, choose “Package” and click on the “Find” button.
  • Now, it retrieves the package bookings in the display area.
