How to Create Yield Discounts in Easy Innkeeping
- Navigate to Setup > Accounts > Discounts, select Yield Management.
Click on "Add" button to create a new Discount.
- Enter the "Account Item Name".
- Choose the "Discount mode".
- Choose the "Yield Mode".
- Select the "Discount Type" from the drop down.
- Enter the "Amount".
- Applies To: Enable the appropriate option, where the yield discount needs to apply automatically (Front Office and EWR)
- Select the From and To date range.
- Choose the "Days to be applied the discount".
- Enable the "Min Nights" & "Max Nights" and Min Adults & Max Adults option and provide the number of nights and adults in enabled text fields. Also enable the other required conditions if needed.
- Choose either "Room" or "Room Type" and enable the required rooms/room types, where the discount needs to apply.
- "Enabled" the "Account Status" and save it.
- Ensure the discount settings align with the intended seasonal rate strategy to apply accurate pricing.
How it Works in Online Booking:
- Go to Online booking link "https://apps.gracesoft.com/EasyWebRez/roomdetails/5190"
- Under "Package" drop down - Choose the appropriate no of nights (package).
- Choose the Arrival and Departure date based on the rate package chosen
- Choose the "Number of Adults"
Rate Configuration:
- The rates configured in the EWR (EasyWebRez) use Yield Management Discounts to automatically adjust pricing based on seasonality and package selection.
- These rates are applicable when selecting rate packages.
- For example, if the "13 Nights" rate package ("13N 2A") is selected for the May season, the system will automatically apply the appropriate seasonal discount and display the corresponding rate.
