Reservation Process

For Adding Reservations.

This document outlines the procedure and structure for managing rates within the Property Management System (PMS). Please note that all rates in the PMS are per night based, unlike the original Word document, which uses weekly, ten-day, and thirteen-day formats.

• The Rate Name for this specific Room type is “Rate”.
• When a rate plan such as 6N 1A (6 Nights, 1 Adult), 10N 1A, 13N 1A is selected for a specific room, the rate is calculated automatically.
• If there are more than 1 Adult (e.g., 2A, 3A, 4A), a Discount needs to be manually selected to reflect the correct pricing.

Example:

If 6N3A is selected, then select the appropriate Discount Season like:

• Mar - Apr 6N3A
• May 6N3A

• The same logic applies to other rate plans such as:
  • 10N2A
  • 13N2A

Select the respective discount for the given season and combination.

2. Lodge Rate: For “Lodge Buildings”

• The Rate name for this Room Type is “Lodge Rate”
• The Lodge Rate calculation works automatically for the March - April season.
• For other seasons, discounts must be selected manually.

Example:

• For Lodge Mar - Apr 6N, 10N, 13N, the rate is automatically calculated.
• For other periods such as:
  • Lodge June - Aug 13N
  • Lodge May 10N2A,

Manually apply the appropriate Discount to ensure correct pricing.
