Overview
Staff users under a multi-property setup are unable to log in or switch between properties using the property dropdown.
This behavior is expected after a recent GraceSoft system update, where staff users no longer inherit Admin privileges across multiple properties.
Root Cause
Staff users are not granted Admin access by default for multiple properties.
Multi-property access now requires explicit staff login creation for each property.
If a staff user is missing from a specific property, it will not appear in the dropdown.
Expected System Behavior
Only properties where the staff user is explicitly added will be visible.
Access levels are property-specific.
The same login name can be reused, but access must be defined per property.
Step 1: Verify Staff User Exists on Each Property
Log in to the property as an Admin user.
Navigate to Setup → Staff / Users.
Check whether the staff user is listed.
Step 2: Create Staff Login for Missing Properties
Add the staff user manually to the property.
Use the same login name as used in other properties.
Assign the appropriate access level based on the user role.

Step 3: Ask the Staff User to Re-login
Log out completely from the system.
Clear browser cache or use an incognito window.
Log in again and check the property dropdown.
Common Scenarios & Fixes
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| Property not visible in the dropdown | Staff login not created for that property |
| Access denied after login | Incorrect access level assigned |
| Can access one property only | Other properties are missing staff login |
