A Housekeeping Report in a hotel management system (PMS) is a report used to monitor the cleaning status and housekeeping activities of hotel rooms.

It helps the housekeeping team and front desk staff know which rooms are clean, dirty, inspected, occupied, vacant, or out of order.

What does a Housekeeping Report show?

  • Room Number / Room Name: Identifies each room or unit.

  • Room Status: Clean, Dirty, Inspected, Occupied, Vacant, etc., depending on the system.

  • Housekeeping Status: Whether the room needs cleaning, is being cleaned, or is ready.

  • Guest / Reservation Details: May include guest name, check-in date, or check-out date, depending on the report.

Housekeeping Summary

A Housekeeping Summary in a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) is a report that provides an overall summary of the housekeeping status of all rooms or units in a property.

It helps management and housekeeping supervisors quickly understand the property's room-cleaning situation without checking each room individually.
